1. Our commitment.

Pasadena Clinical Group is committed to making our services and website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to mental health care is a civil right, and we work to remove digital barriers that interfere with that access.

2. Conformance target.

We aim for the website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG 2.2 covers four principles: perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We are working continuously to identify and address areas of the site that fall short of this target.

3. Legal posture.

Our digital accessibility practices are designed to comply with applicable disability-rights laws, including:

  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (Title III), 42 U.S.C. §12181 et seq.
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, where applicable.
  • The California Unruh Civil Rights Act, Civil Code §51 et seq.

4. Specific accessibility features.

  • Keyboard-navigable interface throughout, including dropdown menus and forms.
  • Visible focus states on all interactive elements.
  • Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
  • Form fields associated with descriptive labels and ARIA attributes where appropriate.
  • Color contrast targeting WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 for body text).
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately.
  • Responsive layout for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion user preference; subtle motion only.
  • Clear typographic hierarchy and reading order.

5. Known limitations.

We acknowledge that some content (third-party embeds, future-added video) may not yet meet our conformance target. As we identify limitations we will document them here with planned remediation dates.

6. Tell us about a barrier.

If you encounter a barrier on this website, or if you need information from us in an alternative format, please contact us. We respond within 5 business days and prioritize remediation according to the severity of the barrier:

7. Physical office accessibility.

Our office at 301 N. Lake Ave is a wheelchair-accessible building with elevator access to the sixth floor. The waiting area, treatment rooms, and restrooms are designed to be accessible. If you need a specific accommodation for your visit (for example, an ASL interpreter, a quieter waiting space, or a longer first appointment), please let us know in advance and we will arrange it where reasonably possible.
